Senior Engineers (Cornwall, UK) - Airframe and Structures

Space Engine Systems is a company with a mission to land humans on the moon as quickly as possible. Along the way, we also work on hypersonic systems for defense, Point to Point, LEO, GEO, and other space and aerospace applications. We pride ourselves on being the lowest cost provider for transportation to anywhere in space, including the Lunar mission.

As an AS 9100 D aerospace certified and Controlled Goods Program (CGP) registered company, we are seeking multiple Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers with Ph.D, Masters, or Bachelors degrees and extensive experience in the design, manufacturing, and testing of airframes or structures. Candidates should have the capability to design and handle projects with minimal supervision and move expeditiously.

We are looking for individuals with knowledge of airframes, structures, and the ability to build a complete hypersonic vehicle with little external support. Our approach is unconventional, focused on speed to flight and testing systems to failure. All our vehicles are piloted with unmanned options, and candidates should be willing to go hands-on from engineering design. Knowledge of all types of materials will be very useful.

The work environment is extremely demanding and this is not a typical 8am to 4.30 pm job. A BSc., MSc, or PhD degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

Must be a certified C.Eng or eligible to obtain C.Eng certification
