Space Engine Systems to Test Mach 5 Spaceplane in Manitoba Canada

Space Engine Systems Ramjet SEXBOMB demonstrator mission high altitude balloon deployment

Space Engine Systems is planning to test a Mach 5 capable ramjet demonstrator vehicle dubbed “SEXBOMB” in Lynn Lake Manitoba. The company plans to deploy the vehicle from a stratospheric balloon, allowing it to accelerate to Mach 1.8 in freefall prior to igniting the vehicles ramjet engine which will further accelerate the vehicle to Mach 5. After a brief powered flight at Mach 5, SEXBOMB will glide unpowered back towards its landing zone near Lynn Lake.
